Kendall Reiner
PHD
Dr. Reiner is a co-owner of New Foundations. She grew up in Tampa, Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida in Tampa in 2011. Dr. Reiner began graduate studies at Palo Alto University in Palo Alto, California in August of 2011, earning her Master’s degree in 2014 and her PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology in 2018. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Arkansas State Hospital. Dr. Reiner is licensed in Georgia and Arkansas.
Dr. Reiner has worked at several psychiatric facilities both inpatient and outpatient in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is proficient in both individual and group therapy. In addition to her predoctoral internship, Dr. Reiner completed the severe mental illness postdoctoral fellowship at the Arkansas State Hospital and continued as an Assistant Professor with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences department of Psychiatry. During her tenure at the Arkansas State Hospital, Dr. Reiner served as a Forensic Evaluator and Unit Psychologist. Additionally, she served on the Diversity and Equity committee as one of two trainers for Minority Affairs for the Arkansas Department of Human Services. In 2021, Dr. Reiner moved to the Atlanta metro area and took a position with a private practice conducting psychological, psychosexual, and forensic evaluations as well as providing specialized group and individual treatment for individuals with sexual behavior problems and those who have been court mandated for treatment. In addition to New Foundations, Dr. Reiner works with a private practice in Marietta, Georgia conducting Pre-trial evaluations of Competency to Stand Trial, Mental State at Time of Offense, and Violence Risk Evaluations of Adults and Juveniles. She has been qualified as an expert in Forensic Psychology and Sex Offender Treatment in State and Federal Criminal Courts, and Juvenile Court. Dr. Reiner also has additional training and experience in work on cases with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness.

Kaitlyn Appel
LPC
Kaitlyn is a co-founder of New Foundations. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University for Georgia and went on to earn her master’s degrees in Forensic Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She was previously licensed as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Virginia and has been licensed in Georgia since 2018.
Kaitlyn has previously worked in private practices in Virginia and Georgia, providing general mental health counseling, treatment for unhealthy sexual behaviors, and conducting evaluations. She has been qualified as an expert in the treatment of unhealthy sexual behaviors in state and federal courts in Georgia. Currently, she specializes in treating unhealthy/illegal sexual behaviors and conducting psychosexual evaluations. She also provides individual counseling for adolescents and adults for a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, and grief.

Johnathon Skinner

I’m Johnathon Skinner. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Multisystemic Therapy. I offer general mental health counseling, sex offender treatment, and Psychosexual and Forensic evaluations.
In therapy, I’m looking for the client who needs a change. We all hit a point sometimes where life isn’t going how we envisioned it for ourselves. Whether you’re not quite sure how to make change happen, or you just want help making the change, I’m here to support you on that journey. I work with adults and adolescents and tailor my approach to each individual’s needs.
I tend to take a behavioral approach, with a focus on how our thoughts and feelings guide our day-to-day actions, and how breaking unhealthy cycles can lead to more satisfaction in life. Christine Earle
MA, PhD
Christine Earle, MA, PhD, is a Clinical Psychologist from San Francisco, CA, with over ten years of experience in the field. Dr. Earle provides individual and couples therapy, conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations, and is a dedicated advocate for academic accommodations for children over the age of seven. She supports clients in building resilience, enhancing interpersonal relationships, and fostering personal development.
Dr. Earle holds a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology (2010) and a PhD in Clinical Psychology (2021). Her expertise includes working with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a range of mental health concerns, such as trauma, substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and relationship issues. In addition to clinical work, she performs psychological assessments for diagnostic clarification, academic accommodations, disability applications, and international adoption processes.
