Diagnostic Evaluations
These evaluations are focused on determining whether a person meets the diagnostic criteria for a specific mental health disorder or condition. It answers a specific diagnostic question, such as whether your symptoms are consistent with ADHD, anxiety, depression, or autism spectrum disorder
What To Expect
- A clinical interview and background review
- Targeted behavioral observations
- Administration of specific assessment tools related to the ?
- Comparison of symptoms to diagnostic criteria
You’ll receive a clear diagnostic conclusion and practical recommendations for treatment or next steps. Because these evaluations are focused on a single concern, they are generally shorter and more streamlined.
Comprehensive psychological evaluations
These evaluations provide a broader, more in-depth understanding of an individual’s overall psychological functioning. The purpose is to assess multiple areas of function – cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and sometimes neuropsychological – to create a complete picture of strengths, challenges, and needs.

Psychosexual Evaluations
Psychosexual evaluations are recommended for court-involved individuals as well as clients who seek treatment on their own for problematic sexual behavior. - A clinical interview and background review
- Discussion of personal history, relationships, and sexual attitudes
- Administration of psychological testing and specialized assessments to help evaluate risk/protective factors
